Qualifying language skills of potential hires and existing employees

We regularly qualify and quantify the language competency of our clients' potential hires in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. 

Both our Buenos Aires and South Florida language centers are located in areas that require companies to have operations that bridge markets and talent pools and that require communications in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.  Typically our clients need rapid qualification of potential hires based on required levels of written and oral communications skills. 

Our flexible reporting options range from basic evaluations (including the necessary basic scoring of general language skills) to specific evaluation of language as it relates to specific desired business roles, such as:  presentation ability, the ability to evaluate and write formal proposals, purchasing, sales, negotiations, and level of comfort with industry-specific terminology as it pertains to fields including finance, engineering, telecommunications, and health care.

Language audits and rapid remediation courses

Businesses often recruit multi-lingual hires. However, due to problems in the recruiting process   and a potential lack of formal situations in which to exercise foreign language skills, many employees end up with much weaker language skills than are really needed by the company.

Tradfax can rapidly and systematically evaluate your employees foreign language skills and, after reporting the results, generate per-employee recommendations for rapid remediation. Employees with similar deficiencies are identified and in many cases can be grouped for greater cost and scheduling efficiencies.

Specialized language courses for business

The certified instructors at Tradfax's language school provide special courses to serve corporate needs.  In addition to our Regular Spanish Lessons and Business Spanish Lessons, we also offer "Rapid Language Remediation", "Industry-Specific Language", and "Accent Reduction" courses. 

Typically, clients choose to have an entire team or business unit participate in these courses as a group, as this offers obvious cost-savings.

Language certification preparation

Many businesses find that having their employees' language skills certified (either by Tradfax directly or by a more widely recognized certification process) can be a valuable performance benchmark as well as the certifications of the employees being a more tangible asset of the company.  For these reasons, Tradfax encourages businesses to seek certification for their multi-lingual employees, and can assist with certification exam preparation using the course materials from our TOEFL (English), FIDESCU or DELE (Spanish), and/or CELPE-Bras (Portuguese) exam preparation courses.

Spanish language certification testing through FIDESCU

Tradfax was the first FIDESCU language and examination center located in North America.  We are able to both prepare AND examine your employees and, after a formal review of the test results by the FIDESCU organization, award the internationally recognized FIDESCU certifications in Spanish as a foreign language.  Unlike the DELE (the only other officially  recognized certification of its kind) which can only be taken at certain universities twice per year, Tradfax can proctor the certification exam on short notice and at your convenience.
